In 2006 I spent 8 days in May in Ireland with some dear friends who moved from Mendocino, CA shortly before we did. They are both artists and historians which made our conversations and travels together much fun. We stayed in country homes and inns that were quite old and very beautiful. I took many photographs, some of which appear here and I plan to do several paintings inspired by this trip. I fell in love with Ireland and will return many times, I'm sure. -- Edward Gordon
