This painting was the inspiration for a gourmet meal captured on an episode of Chef's Kitchen, taped at the Arts in the Inns festival, 2009, Kennebunkport, Maine. Click here to see it! Personal note from Edward Gordon My most recent painting, "Apples", started out as a still life with fruit. First, the bowl contained peaches and they seemed too dull then I switched to green apples and, finally, to red apples. Then I decided to add a window and a lush garden outside. Then, the garden became an ocean; I just couldn't help myself. This painting features the front hall and a view of the dining room from our lovely home in Vermont. - E.G. |
